The day after my butterfly shoot, I decided to study their patterns and I sketched them from life. This was difficult because they hardly sit still. It was very interesting to watch them get nectar. They use their proboscis in a very interesting way that relates the flower. While they get nectar, the flower sprinkles them with pollen. I want to sketch more bugs in life and I hope spring brings more!
